Four simple steps for a secure communication over the Internet by
PrivaSphere Secure Messaging System:
|
1. Compose Message
|
Sender writes an eMail online at https://www.privasphere.com.
Upon login a secure connection (SSL) is established between
the sender and the secure
messaging system which reliably protects data from eavesdropping.
|
2. Notification
|
Recipient is notified by normal eMail from sender
SecureMessaging@privasphere.com about the secure message
waiting for delivery on the secure PrivaSphere server and is invited to download
it at https://www.privasphere.com.
|
3. Simple Authentication
|
If this is the first time that the recipient is contacted by the
sender through PrivaSphere, he will receive a message unlock code ( MUC/PIN).
For confidentiality, this MUC is to be transmitted by other means of
communications than eMail (e.g. phone, SMS) and is a prerequisite to access
the waiting message.
If the recipient was already in contact with the sender via PrivaSphere and has registered
with PrivaSphere, step 3 is no longer needed.
|
4. Read Message
|
The recipient follows the link indicated in his notification message (2)
which automatically establishes a secure connection (SSL) between his computer and the
PrivaSphere secure server. He authenticates himself with the given MUC (3) or later by
login, and downloads the message and confidential documents such as contracts, business
plans, resumes or loan documents.
